The clan

[THC] naturally evolved to a typical Morpheus Rocket Arena clan. This doesn't mean that we only play this configuration by definition, nor aim to be the best clan on it. We don't care about skill, we aim to be a clan with a deep content and a chilly atmosphere. Our clan stands for a friendly and helpful attitude towards other clans, players or newbies. But what connects us most of all and is the reason for the name of our clan, is the fact that we smoke marihuana, like it damn much and support the legalization of it.

And by the way: [THC] does not promote any irresponsible use of marihuana. Marihuana affects the state of mind and this may have serious consequences - the user can put himself or herself and even other people in danger. When experimenting with marihuana, we advise to do it in secure circumstances and an unpressured environment, with friends or relatives who really care and already know what marihuana is about.

The substance

Marihuana, also known as cannabis, hasj, pot, herb, ganja, grass, weed, sinsemilla, or just a rocket. Call it as you like. Consume it as you like. Marihuana is one of the world's most commonly used psychoactive substances.

There are different user experiences with marihuana. In general, smoking marihuana relaxes the user and elevates the mood. Users can shift between contemplation and hilarity depending on their surroundings. The substance may bring on feelings of contentment, relaxation and happiness. While the effect lasts, it may get harder to concentrate.

The mind altering ingredient is a substance called delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as THC. THC acts on specific cannabinoid receptors in the brain.

Marihuana is not physically addictive. Chronic use does not establish physical dependence, nor, upon withdrawal, does the regular user suffer extreme physical discomfort (such as that associated with narcotics), but its use may tend to be psychologically habituating. In other words, marihuana is classified as a softdrug. In opposite to any commonly used harddrug (like alcohol, tobacco, cocaine, heroine) there are no reported cases of death due to marihuana consumption. From the point of view of those who favour the legalization of marihuana, the substance is a mild hallucinogen that bears no similarity to these narcotics. The current hysteria over the use of marihuana and the harsh penalties that are imposed are perceived by users as a greater threat to society than would be a more rational and realistic approach to drug use.
